A Routine Fare Turns Tragic

On the night of April 27, 1992, Jackson Jones, a dedicated driver for Yellow Cab, received a dispatch to pick up a passenger at 4560 60th Street, apartment #6, in San Diego. This assignment seemed like any other, but it would tragically be his last. Jones departed for the fare around midnight, unaware of the danger that awaited him.

The Grim Discovery

Approximately thirty minutes after Jones was dispatched, a concerned citizen approached a police officer. The individual reported seeing a taxi cab driver slumped over the steering wheel at 4100 Colts Way, a location not far from Jones's intended destination.
