A Tragic Evening in Northeast Denver

On the evening of March 15, 2015, the tranquility of Denver's northeast neighborhood was shattered by the sound of gunfire. At approximately 9:00 p.m., Denver Police officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 3200 block of North Pontiac Street. Upon arrival, they discovered 27-year-old Jeffrey Starks suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, Starks succumbed to his injuries, leaving a community in mourning and a family devastated.

Immediate Aftermath and Initial Investigations

In the hours following the shooting, law enforcement officials worked diligently to piece together the events leading up to the tragic incident.
