A Tragic Evening in Southeast D.C.

On the night of February 7, 1996, the tranquility of Washington, D.C.'s Southeast neighborhood was shattered by the sound of gunfire. At approximately 9:00 pm, Jeremy Carpenter was fatally shot in the 1500 block of 25th Street, SE.
