The Fateful Night

On December 2, 2016, Allen spent the evening engaging in one of his favorite pastimes—playing cards with friends in his old neighborhood. As the night drew to a close, he began his journey back home to Naperville. Tragically, while driving on the 1300 block of North Laramie Avenue, Allen was struck by a bullet. The gunshot caused him to lose control of his vehicle, leading to a crash. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
