A Life Cut Short

On April 16, 2016, the Birmingham community was shaken by the tragic death of 40-year-old Thebious Neuron Roland. Born on June 2, 1975, Roland was a resident of Jefferson County and an entrepreneur known for his dedication and hard work. He was a member of the 23rd Street Baptist Church Ensley and a 1993 graduate of A.H. Parker High School. His untimely death left a void in the lives of his family, friends, and the broader community.

The Tragic Incident

On that fateful afternoon, around 2:15 p.m., police responded to a call in the 600 block of 6th Avenue North in the Smithfield community.
