On April 12, 2014, the city of Indianapolis was shaken by the tragic death of Trent Eugene Wilson Sr., a 47-year-old resident who fell victim to gun violence. Despite the passage of over a decade, his murder remains unsolved, leaving a void in the hearts of his family and the community.

Trent E. Wilson Sr. was born on March 31, 1967. He was a devoted husband to Shannon England-Wilson and a loving father to his children: daughter Brytani Wilson, sons Trent Jr. and Eric Wilson, and stepdaughters Whytani, Ashli, and Tanisha.
