A Life Cut Short

On January 27, 2014, the city of Indianapolis was shaken by the tragic death of 38-year-old Troy L. Grayson. Known affectionately as "Troy Gee," Grayson was a father of four, with his youngest child being less than a year old at the time of his passing. The Night of the Incident

The events of that cold January night unfolded near the intersection of 38th Street and Keystone Avenue. Around 9:30 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting and discovered Grayson in the driver's seat of his car, having suffered fatal gunshot wounds. A passenger in the vehicle was also injured and transported to the hospital in serious condition.
