A Life Cut Short

On January 27, 2014, the city of Indianapolis was shaken by the tragic death of 38-year-old Troy L. Grayson. Known affectionately as "Troy Gee," Grayson was a father of four, with his youngest child being less than a year old at the time of his passing. His sudden and violent death left a void in the lives of his family and friends, and his children have had to grow up without their father's presence. 

The Night of the Incident

The events of that cold January night unfolded near the intersection of 38th Street and Keystone Avenue. Around 9:30 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting and discovered Grayson in the driver's seat of his car, having suffered fatal gunshot wounds. A passenger in the vehicle was also injured and transported to the hospital in serious condition.
