Nas'Jah Moody, a 15-year-old freshman at Shawnee Academy in Louisville, Kentucky, was known for his kind heart and willingness to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed spending time outdoors with friends and assisting his parents. His untimely death on May 4, 2020, left a void in the lives of those who knew him.

The Day of the Incident

On the afternoon of May 4, 2020, around 3:30 p.m., officers from the Louisville Metro Police Department's First Division responded to reports of a shooting in the 3900 block of Alford Avenue in the Shawnee neighborhood.
