A New Beginning in Keddie

In the fall of 1980, Glenna Susan "Sue" Sharp sought a fresh start for herself and her five children. Leaving behind a troubled marriage in Connecticut, she relocated to the serene, rural community of Keddie, California. Nestled in the Sierra Nevada mountains, Keddie offered a peaceful retreat, and Sue secured residence in Cabin 28 of the Keddie Resort. Alongside her were her children: John (15), Sheila (14), Tina (12), Rick (10), and Greg (5). The family quickly adapted to their new surroundings, with John, the eldest son, attending Quincy High School and forming a close bond with his friend, Dana Wingate.
