A Quiet Life Interrupted

On May 17, 2019, Donald Bruce Anderson, a 55-year-old resident of Lytle Creek, California, was reported missing after failing to attend a scheduled appointment. Known for his reliability, Anderson's sudden disappearance raised immediate concerns among friends and family. His home was found unlocked, his dog left alone—a behavior uncharacteristic of Anderson—and some of his belongings were missing. His vehicle remained at the residence, and there were no immediate signs of foul play.  

The Investigation Begins

The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Fontana Station, took charge of the investigation. Despite thorough searches and inquiries, leads were scarce. The absence of forced entry or struggle at Anderson's home left investigators puzzled.
