A Quiet Departure into Uncertainty

On February 6, 2020, 65-year-old Douglas Junior Waterman was last seen driving away from a friend's home in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Described as a Caucasian male, 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing approximately 175 pounds, with gray hair mostly balding on top and a skinny ponytail at the back, Waterman also had a scruffy gray beard and brown eyes. He was known to commonly wear a ball cap. 

Discovery of an Abandoned Vehicle

Shortly after his disappearance, Waterman's vehicle was found abandoned on tribal trust land near a thermal pond in Shawnee. The circumstances surrounding the vehicle's location raised concerns, but no immediate evidence provided clarity on Waterman's whereabouts. 

Financial and Communication Silence

Investigations revealed that there had been no activity on Waterman's bank accounts since his disappearance. Additionally, his cellular phone was turned off, and there had been no communication from him. These factors contributed to the growing concern for his safety and well-being. 
