A New Beginning in California

In 2004, Gabriel Callejas Guerrero, a 22-year-old from Hidalgo, Mexico, embarked on a journey to the United States, seeking better opportunities. He settled in California, residing in San Jose and Oakland, where he worked diligently to build a new life. His time in the U.S. was marked by hard work and the pursuit of the American dream.


Deportation and Disappearance

On July 11, 2007, Gabriel was deported by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials. This event marked the last confirmed contact with him. After his deportation, Gabriel's whereabouts became unknown, and he was reported missing. Despite efforts to locate him, no documented encounters at the border or elsewhere have been reported since that date. 


Physical Description and Identifying Features

At the time of his disappearance, Gabriel was 25 years old. He was described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing around 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Notably, he had a tattoo on his right arm. 


Investigation and Case Status

The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office is the primary agency investigating Gabriel's disappearance. Detective Zaheem Buksh has been listed as a contact for the case.
