A Bright Light in Spring City

Lauren Maria Pico Jackson was a spirited five-year-old girl living in Spring City, Pennsylvania. Born on September 26, 1983, Lauren faced numerous health challenges from birth, including a cleft palate, clubfoot, hip dysplasia, and hydrocephalus. Despite these obstacles, she was known for her sweet nature and resilience. The Day Everything Changed

On October 4, 1988, Lauren was playing outside near her mother's apartment at the Park Spring complex. When her mother, Christina O'Donnell, went to check on her, Lauren was gone.
