A Quiet Disappearance

Wilfred Oscar Simms, a 77-year-old resident of Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, was last seen by his family on April 1, 2014. Known for occasionally losing contact with his family for extended periods, his absence initially did not raise immediate concern. However, as time passed without any communication, worry began to set in. Despite his history of sporadic contact, Simms always eventually reached out to his loved ones, making this prolonged silence unsettling.  

Delayed Reporting and Investigation

It wasn't until February 2019, nearly five years after his last known contact, that Simms was officially reported missing. The delay in reporting complicated the investigation, as crucial time had elapsed, potentially erasing vital clues.
