A Routine Day on the Water
On the morning of Thursday, November 16, 2023, 64-year-old lobsterman Scott Cluff embarked on what was expected to be a typical day of hauling lobster traps. Launching his 12-foot aluminum skiff from the Turbats Creek boat ramp in Kennebunkport, Maine, Cluff set out to work the familiar waters between Walker's Point and Cape Porpoise. Known for his experience and deep connection to the area, there was no indication that this day would differ from countless others spent on the Atlantic.
Alarming Absence
