The Fateful Flight

On August 9, 2023, Jason Tucker, a 45-year-old pilot from Wasilla, Alaska, embarked on a flight with his passenger, 44-year-old Nicolas Blace from Chugiak, Alaska. They were aboard a Piper PA-18 Super Cub aircraft, intending to transport Blace to a remote airstrip near the Dillinger River, close to the western boundary of Denali's southwest preserve.
