A Joyous Beginning Turns Mysterious
On June 4, 1994, Jonathan "Joe" Williams, a 28-year-old correctional officer and U.S. Army Reserve member, married his partner in Kansas City, Missouri. Just two days later, he vanished without a trace. The newlyweds had hosted a small celebration at their home near The Paseo and East 39th Street. That evening, around 6:30 p.m., Joe left to drive a guest home in his black 1994 Ford Tempo and was never seen again.
