The Disappearance That Shook a Family

On the night of June 30, 2024, 22-year-old Angela Marisol Diaz vanished without a trace in southeast Houston, Texas. Her family reported her missing after her boyfriend failed to inform them of her disappearance for two days. The last known contact with Angela was at the Moonlight Inn and Suites along the Gulf Freeway, where she was reportedly meeting someone. Her phone was later tracked to a wooded area behind the Fitness Connection off I-10 East, where it was found powered off. 

A Family's Desperate Search

Angela's family, particularly her father Edward Diaz and sister Sorangely Diaz, have been relentless in their search. They have distributed flyers, hired a private investigator, and worked closely with local authorities. Despite their efforts, Angela remains missing, and the family continues to plead for public assistance. 

Uncovering a Darker Narrative

As the investigation progressed, disturbing details emerged. Court documents revealed that Angela may have been a victim of human trafficking. Krystephor Karvon Brown, a 31-year-old Houston man, was charged with promoting prostitution in connection with Angela's case. An undercover operation in June 2024 found Angela involved in a prostitution exchange facilitated by Brown. Text messages indicated Brown monitored Angela's movements and pressured her into meeting clients, even against her will. 

The Fugitive at Large

Despite the charges, Brown remains at large. His criminal history spans a decade, including charges related to drugs, weapons, and assault.
