A Lifelong South Buffalo Resident Disappears Without a Trace

Kathryn Grace Knox Zedick, a 21-year-old mother of two, was a lifelong resident of South Buffalo, New York. Known for her vibrant red hair and brown eyes, she stood between 5'1" and 5'2" tall and weighed approximately 120 to 140 pounds. On June 1, 1983, around Easter time, Kathryn was last seen in the vicinity of Seneca Street and Avondale Street in Buffalo. Despite extensive searches and investigations, she vanished without a trace, leaving her family and community in a state of perpetual uncertainty.

The Initial Investigation and Lack of Leads

Following Kathryn's disappearance, the Buffalo Police Department launched an investigation. However, the case quickly went cold due to a lack of evidence and leads. There were no signs of foul play, and no records indicated that she had left the Buffalo area.
