The Last Known Sighting

On September 12, 2019, 37-year-old Tara Horizon Coppola was last seen at the Kaival Liquor Store located at 3330 West New Haven Avenue in West Melbourne, Florida. Surveillance footage captured her in the company of an unidentified white male. Authorities have emphasized that this individual is not considered a suspect but are seeking to identify him as a potential witness. 

A Delayed Missing Person Report

Notably, Tara was not reported missing until over a year later, in late 2020. The reasons for this delay remain unclear, but such a gap can significantly hinder investigative efforts. By the time law enforcement became involved, crucial leads and potential evidence may have been lost. 

Physical Description and Identifying Marks

Tara is described as a white female, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing around 115 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. Distinctive tattoos adorn both of her hands, both hips, and her left ankle, which could aid in identification. 

Investigative Efforts and Public Appeals

The Brevard County Sheriff's Office has been actively seeking information regarding Tara's disappearance. They have released images from the liquor store's surveillance footage in hopes that someone might recognize the unidentified man seen with her. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact Agent Jennifer Straight at 321-633-8413 or CRIMELINE at 407-321-8477. ...Read More
