On March 17, 1978, Scott Orville Musser, a 20-year-old resident of Eustis, Florida, was last seen at a local grocery store in unincorporated Lake County. That day, he failed to show up for work—a detail that immediately raised concerns among those who knew him. The circumstances surrounding his disappearance were deemed suspicious, but despite the passage of time, no substantial leads have emerged to explain what happened to Scott that day.
