The Fateful Flight of February 1983

On February 1, 1983, pilot William Robideau, aged 38, departed from Melozi Hot Springs, Alaska, en route to Fairbanks. Accompanying him were two passengers: 30-year-old Susan Edmondson and 29-year-old Kenneth Erlewine. The trio was aboard a small aircraft, navigating the remote and rugged Alaskan terrain. Tragically, they never reached their destination, and no trace of the plane or its occupants has been found since.

William Robideau was a seasoned pilot, standing 65 inches tall and weighing approximately 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. His passengers, Susan Edmondson and Kenneth Erlewine, were both in their late twenties.
