A Routine Outing Turns Tragic

On February 2, 1997, 56-year-old Lanny Roger Hotrum embarked on what was expected to be a routine skiff outing in Hobart Bay, near Juneau, Alaska. Known for his familiarity with the local waters, Hotrum's disappearance that day shocked the community.
