A Night Out Turns Into a Mystery
On the evening of December 18, 1993, 35-year-old Tina Ledet was last seen at the Brass Eagle Lounge on Stumpf Boulevard in Gretna, Louisiana. Witnesses recall that she was accompanied by two male friends at the bar. Later that night, Tina reportedly met a man who identified himself as "Troy." After her friends left, Tina stayed behind with Troy, and they were seen leaving together, possibly heading to Fat City, a nearby entertainment district. Tina has not been seen or heard from since that night.
A Previous Disappearance Raises Questions
Adding to the mystery, it's noted that Tina had previously disappeared for three months before the December 1993 incident. Details surrounding this earlier disappearance are scarce, but the recurrence of such events has led to increased concern and speculation about the circumstances leading to her vanishing.
Physical Description and Identifiers
At the time of her disappearance, Tina was described as a white female, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing between 125 to 135 pounds. She had light brown to blonde hair, hazel or blue eyes, and a fair complexion. On the night she vanished, she was wearing a pink and white shirt, blue jeans, and pink Reebok shoes. Tina may have also used the last name "Ponthieux."
Investigative Efforts and Leads
The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office has been the primary agency investigating Tina's disappearance. Despite available dental records and DNA samples, no significant leads have emerged over the years. The case remains open, and authorities continue to seek information that could shed light on Tina's whereabouts. ...Read More
