A Mother Disappears Without a Trace

On the early morning of October 14, 2018, 43-year-old Angie Romero vanished from Albuquerque, New Mexico, leaving behind a trail of unanswered questions and a family desperate for closure. Angie, a devoted mother, daughter, and friend, was last seen at her boyfriend Daniel Sonnenberg's residence on the city's northeast side. According to Sonnenberg, the two had an argument, and Angie left his home on foot around 4:30 a.m. However, this account has been met with skepticism, as security footage from neighboring homes failed to capture any evidence of her departure at that time.

Angie's disappearance was entirely out of character. She maintained close relationships with her family and friends, speaking daily with her best friend, Vanessa Gutierrez. The night before she went missing, Angie texted her mother and sister to say goodnight—a routine gesture that would become her last known communication. Gutierrez, alarmed by Angie's sudden silence, attempted to contact her the following morning, only to find her calls going unanswered.
