Background of Harvey Fernandez

Harvey Dale Fernandez was born on December 31, 1973, and was a native of the Peñasco Valley in New Mexico. From a young age, he exhibited a passion for skiing, beginning at the age of four, which later led him to become an instructor at Sipapu. Prior to his disappearance, Harvey had relocated to Colorado Springs for a construction job but had returned to his hometown for a week-long visit. 

The Night of the Disappearance

On October 15, 2005, 31-year-old Harvey attended a party with acquaintances in Vadito, New Mexico. Later that evening, around 2:00 a.m., his grandmother observed him at a gas station in Vadito.
