Natalia "Naty" Molina Valenzuela, a 25-year-old Colombian national, embarked on a journey that many dream of—working aboard a cruise ship, exploring the world while earning a living. The Fateful Morning

On September 8, 2016, during the early hours, the Norwegian Pearl was navigating the waters near Funter Bay, west of Juneau, Alaska. At approximately 1:40 a.m., surveillance footage captured Natalia going overboard. Her absence was noted when she failed to report for her scheduled duty at 5:00 a.m. Subsequent checks of the ship's CCTV confirmed the overboard incident.
