A Quiet Afternoon Walk Turns Into a Haunting Mystery

On April 20, 2018, 71-year-old Lauralyn Palmer set out for a routine walk with her stepdaughter’s dog, Lucy, in the wooded area near her home on Cassel Fall River Road in Fall River Mills, California. It was a familiar path she had taken countless times before. She left behind her phone, wallet, and purse, carrying only a can of lite beer and wearing her eyeglasses.
