A Life Interrupted

Chaloe Alonza Long, born on October 15, 1965, was a 50-year-old African-American woman residing in West Philadelphia. Standing at 5'9" and weighing between 130 to 165 pounds, she was known to her family and community as a vibrant individual despite her struggles with mental health. Chaloe suffered from bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, conditions that require consistent medical attention and medication. At the time of her disappearance, she was reportedly off her prescribed medications, a factor that heightened concerns for her well-being .

The Day She Disappeared

On September 8, 2016, Chaloe was last seen at her home on the 4100 block of Westminster Avenue in Philadelphia. According to family members, she was picked up by an ambulance from her residence. The ambulance was believed to be transporting her to either Penn Presbyterian Medical Center or the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
