A Quiet Town, A Lingering Mystery

Mossyrock, Washington, is a small, close-knit community nestled amidst the natural beauty of Lewis County. Known for its serene landscapes and tight community bonds, the town was shaken in May 2016 when one of its residents, 55-year-old Myrna Rae LeBeau, vanished without a trace. Her disappearance remains an enduring mystery, leaving family, friends, and investigators searching for answers.

The Day She Disappeared

On May 25, 2016, Myrna was last seen walking along Green Mountain Road, a rural area near her home in Mossyrock. She was wearing a green windbreaker jacket, sweatpants, and white sneakers, and she carried a blue purse. Despite the passage of time, no confirmed sightings or communications have been reported since that day. 

Personal Struggles and Concerns

Myrna's disappearance is particularly concerning due to her medical history. She was known to suffer from mental health issues and required medication, some of which she had with her when she went missing. Her condition raised immediate alarms among those close to her, as she had a history of occasionally dropping out of sight, but never for such an extended period. 

The Investigation Begins

The Lewis County Sheriff's Office initiated an investigation following reports of Myrna's disappearance. Despite efforts to locate her, including searches and public appeals for information, the case has yielded few leads. The lack of evidence or sightings has made the investigation particularly challenging. ...Read More
