Carmen Forsythe, also known by the alias Carmen Moore, was a 20-year-old woman living a transient lifestyle in Salem, Oregon. Described as 5'8" tall, weighing 200 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, Carmen was part of a vulnerable population often overlooked in missing persons cases. Her transient lifestyle made it challenging for authorities and loved ones to keep track of her whereabouts, adding complexity to her case. 

The Last Known Movements: Journey to California

On June 15, 2015, Carmen reportedly left Salem with three unidentified homeless men, intending to travel to California. Upon arrival, she contacted her aunt to confirm she had arrived safely and mentioned plans to head to Chico, California.
