On January 7, 2012, Kathryn Bene Griffin, a 43-year-old mother of three, was last seen at Perry’s Cutz, a barbershop located at 3521 Victory Boulevard in Portsmouth, Virginia. Griffin worked at the shop, which was owned by her ex-boyfriend. That day, her mother, Linda Archie, brought Griffin's children to visit her.
