A New Year's Day Disappearance

David Marchan, an 18-year-old from Des Moines, Iowa, was last seen on January 1, 2001. Standing between 5'5" and 5'8" and weighing approximately 160 to 180 pounds, David was of Hispanic descent with brown hair and brown eyes. He had distinctive tattoos: hands on his chest, the word "dice," and the phrase "En memoria de mi jefecito". His left ear was pierced. Typically, he wore Docker-style pants and collared button-down shirts.( 

A Flight to Safety

Reports suggest that David fled to the Los Angeles, California area after witnessing a murder in Des Moines. Fearing for his safety, he left Iowa and has not been heard from since. The circumstances surrounding the murder he allegedly witnessed remain unclear, and it's unknown whether he provided any information to law enforcement before his disappearance. ...Read More
