The Night Steven Bronson Disappeared

Steven Matthew Bronson, a 31-year-old resident of Long Beach, California, was last seen on the evening of June 27, 2018, leaving his home on the 1300 block of Bennett Avenue around 9:30 p.m. . Dressed in a black tank top, black shorts, long white socks, and red tennis shoes, he also wore a brass ring on his right ring finger. Known for his distinctive tattoos—including a handicap symbol under his right eye, a wolf on the front of his neck, and a bird with an “S” on a shield on the right side of his neck—Bronson's sudden disappearance was out of character, especially given his habitual use of his phone and social media.

Discovery of the Abandoned Vehicle

Three days after his disappearance, on June 30, 2018, the California Highway Patrol found Bronson's silver 2003 Toyota Corolla abandoned on the northbound 5 Freeway near Castaic, approximately 50 miles from his Long Beach residence. The car's windows were rolled down, and some of Bronson's belongings remained inside.
