A Promising Life Interrupted

David Allen Lowe was a 29-year-old Vietnam War veteran, honored with the Bronze Star for his service. Standing at 5'10" and weighing 190 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes, Lowe was known for his quiet demeanor and deep voice. After returning from the war, he settled in Pasadena, Texas, where he pursued a career in law enforcement. Colleagues from his police academy days recall him as a reserved individual who stood out for his discipline and dedication. 

The Day He Disappeared

On February 6, 1980, Lowe was last seen in the north parking lot of the old Pasadena Police Department at 1201 Davis Street. He is believed to have departed in a red and white 1974 Cessna 172 aircraft, tail number N890L, serial number 17262750.
