A Quiet Life Interrupted

Carolyn June Delap, a 70-year-old woman from Wichita, Kansas, lived a life that, by all accounts, was quiet and unassuming. Standing at 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing approximately 200 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes, Carolyn was last seen in December 2022. She lived alone in her residence and had not been in contact with her family for some time. Her sudden disappearance has left her family and the community searching for answers.

The last confirmed sighting of Carolyn was at her bank in December 2022. This visit is the final piece of concrete information investigators have regarding her whereabouts. Since then, there have been no transactions, communications, or sightings that could provide clues to her location.

Carolyn's disappearance was officially reported on January 27, 2025. Detectives from the Wichita Police Department checked her last known address but found no sign of her. The lack of evidence or leads has made the investigation particularly challenging.

A Community's Concern

The Wichita Police Department has reached out to the public for assistance in locating Carolyn. They have urged anyone with information to come forward, emphasizing the importance of community involvement in such cases. The case has also been added to the NamUs database, a national information clearinghouse and resource center for missing, unidentified, and unclaimed person cases across the United States. ...Read More
