The Day Tracey Brooks Disappeared

On January 5, 2019, 63-year-old Tracey E. Brooks was last seen in the 3700 block of East Brookstown Drive in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Despite the passage of time, no new information has surfaced regarding her whereabouts. Her disappearance remains one of the many unresolved cases in East Baton Rouge Parish.

A Detailed Description

Tracey Brooks is described as a Black female with black hair and brown eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she stood approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighed around 135 to 145 pounds. One of her distinguishing features is a birthmark that extends from her left shoulder to her left wrist. Unfortunately, both dental and DNA records are unavailable, which poses challenges for identification efforts. 

The Investigation So Far

The Baton Rouge Police Department has been the primary agency handling Tracey's case. Despite ongoing efforts, including listing her profile in the Louisiana Repository for Unidentified & Missing People and the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs), there have been no significant leads. The lack of DNA and dental records further complicates the investigation.
