Prior to her disappearance, Judy had experienced periods of homelessness and struggled with mental health issues. Despite these challenges, it was uncharacteristic for her to vanish without any communication, especially given her close relationship with her family.  

The Immediate Aftermath and Search Efforts

Following her disappearance, Judy's family and local authorities initiated search efforts. The Riverside County Sheriff's Department, Lake Elsinore Station, took the lead in the investigation. Despite their efforts, no significant leads emerged. Judy's case was entered into the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System under case number MP59617.
