A Quiet Life Interrupted
On April 4, 2018, Everett George Crowley, a 52-year-old resident of Erie, Pennsylvania, was last seen. Standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds, Crowley had gray hair and brown eyes. His sudden disappearance went unnoticed for nearly a year, until his mother, living out of state, reported him missing in March 2019 after losing contact with him. This delay in reporting significantly hindered the initial stages of the investigation.
The Investigation Begins
Upon receiving the missing person report, Erie police visited Crowley's last known residence. Individuals at the address mentioned they had seen him about a week or two prior to the police visit, but there was no concrete information about his whereabouts. At the time of his disappearance, Crowley was wanted by the police for charges including theft, criminal trespass, and receiving stolen property.
