In the early summer of 2000, 48-year-old Johnny Kimbrell informed his mother that he planned to move from Anchorage to Soldotna, Alaska. This conversation marked the last confirmed contact anyone had with him. Despite the passage of time, no further information has surfaced regarding his whereabouts, leaving his family and authorities in a state of uncertainty.

It wasn't until April 2, 2004, nearly four years after his disappearance, that Johnny was officially reported missing to the Anchorage Police Department.
