A Quiet Day Turns Into a Mystery

Tammy Brena Fortson, a 28-year-old African-American woman, vanished on October 2, 1997, in Conyers, Georgia. She was last seen in the Christian Circle area, reportedly leaving on foot to go to the store. Despite the routine nature of her errand, Tammy never returned home, and her whereabouts remain unknown to this day. 

Delayed Reporting Raises Questions

One of the most perplexing aspects of Tammy's case is the delay in reporting her missing. Her disappearance wasn't officially reported until November 15, 1997, approximately six weeks after she was last seen.
