A Mother's Day That Turned Into a Mystery

On May 10, 2020, Mother's Day, 32-year-old Kelley Nicole Sherman was last seen in Okeechobee, Florida. She resided in a second-story apartment at 605 NE Park Street with her boyfriend. That day, she canceled plans with her father and subsequently vanished. Despite previous instances where Kelley had left town, she consistently maintained contact with her family. Her sudden silence was out of character and raised immediate concerns. 

The Immediate Aftermath and Family's Response

Kelley's family quickly reported her missing after she stopped responding to calls and messages. Her sister, Amber Raub, expressed the family's anguish, stating, "Not knowing is the worst... Not knowing what happened to her or where she’s at or if we will ever get to bring her home." The family has been proactive, distributing missing person posters and leveraging social media to gather any leads. 

Physical Description and Identifying Marks

Kelley is described as a Caucasian female with red hair and blue eyes. She stands 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs approximately 115 to 120 pounds. Distinctive tattoos include stars on her right foot and cherries on the right side of her abdomen. Her ears are pierced. 

Law Enforcement's Ongoing Investigation

The Okeechobee City Police Department has been actively investigating Kelley's disappearance. Detective Brandi Drapal was assigned to the case in 2025 to provide a fresh perspective.
