Hey everyone, I've been following Alexander Magadan Pineda-Vega's case and something caught my attention. I noticed that his disappearance coincides with Hurricane Ida, which swept through the region around the same time. Do you think there's any possibility that the storm might have played a role in his vanishing? Considering he was working at a local business, is it possible he went to check on something work-related during or after the storm? I just thought it was worth considering given the ... ...View Post & Comment
He is my brother in law and his job at the time was working with a family member in construction. they where in Louisiana for some time just for work related and was supposed to come back to Houston which is where Alexander originally is from, but according to the family member he said Alexander stayed in Louisiana to help someone else (which supposedly was an elderly person) in there home. We are not close to this family member who last saw him and there is only so little he has told us. Thatâ€... ...View Post & Comment
How frustrating for you and your family. I am just going to post it here to try and help. If you’re looking for updates or more information on the disappearance of Alexander (last seen September 1, 2021, in LaPlace, Louisiana), the investigating agency listed publicly is the St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office. Their contact number is (985) 652-6338.... ...View Post & Comment
I am trying to wrap my brain around this one. Dad kills son and roommate? Was the son just an accident? I saw roommate broke through a wall and Dad shot him. Was it dads gun? Or did roommate have a gun and that is how son got shot? Did they both have guns? Was this a wild west shootout you see in movies? All over roommate dropping his daughter and them fighting over it. This sounds crazy. I wonder if drugs or alcohol were involved. That would make so much more sense if that were it. Not to to... ...View Post & Comment
Anyone know what the \'ongoing issue\' was? Just curious. Not that any kind of ongoing issue should result in someone being shot 5 times. That is a bit over the top. I just don\'t get it. That showed a lot of anger toward Flowers. How horrible for his family to have to deal with this. How can you even celebrate your birthday ever again knowing your child died on that date? I don\'t think I would. This just sucks is such an understatement. ... ...View Post & Comment
Looks like another case of they know who did it but they can\'t prove it. I wondert why it took a week for the family to report her missing....I figure I would be hyper aware of my family member especially if they had a mind of a 10 yr old. How very sad. Yet another person that \'slipped through the cracks\'. The system is so broken. I wish there was a solid fix for this without stripping away a persons rights. Just sad.... ...View Post & Comment
Hey everyone, I’ve been reading through the threads about the Des Moines case and wanted to discuss something I've been turning over in my mind. Has anyone else looked into Carneh's life pre-murders? I read somewhere that he had a massive collection of diaries and notebooks where he obsessively wrote about Josie and his "ideas" for their future together. It's unsettling to think that he lived in such a delusional world, but it also makes me wonder about early intervention possibilities. Could... ...View Post & Comment
Carneh was convicted by the juvenile justice system twelve times from the age of 12, always escalating each time. He lived with his parents who had knowledge of his convictions. They didn’t seek any help for him. At the time of the homicides he was unemployed, yet would show his... ...View Post & Comment
What is wrong with peoples heads? How can you live like an animal. Arent we supposed to be a civilized society? I’ve been following Pedro Morales' case for a while now, and there’s one thing that’s always bothered me—how could a murder like this happen in such a quiet rural area without anybody noticing anything? It’s the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else's business. I feel awful for his family, having no answers all these years later. It makes me wonder if anyone saw something back then but didn’t realize its importance or if they were too afraid to come forward. The reward off... ...View Post & Comment

Has anyone else looked into the possible sightings of Cheyenne Williams in the weeks after she was last seen? I read somewhere that there were a few unconfirmed reports of a woman matching her description hanging around the bus station downtown. It made me wonder if she might have tried to leave the area voluntarily at first. With no solid leads to go on, these small details could potentially be crucial. It’s been so long now, but sometimes people remember things they didn’t think were impor... ...View Post & Comment

I found a “recently booked” entry for a Tymonae Kelley booked in Webster Parish on 3/27/2025 for a DOC transfer (LCIW Baker). This could indicate state custody movement, but I cannot confirm it’s the same person from Larry\'s murder. Because Orleans criminal case info is commonly accessed through Clerk Connect (which has replaced Docket Master), the most direct way to confirm the latest minute entries, court events, and filings is there. A local victims’ resource guide explains exactly h... ...View Post & Comment
I’ve been reading up on Diane Burks and something that truly stands out to me is the location where she was found. "The Easement" was known as a lovers' lane, and I can't help but wonder about its significance. Could this area have been deliberately chosen by the perpetrator, knowing it was somewhat secluded but also frequented enough that she would be discovered quickly? If the killer was familiar with this spot, it might suggest they had some connection or history with the area. It’s terri... ...View Post & Comment
My name is Margarita Burks and I am her oldest daughter and I was 7 when she was murdered. I am now 52 yrs old and I literally only have a few memories of her. To trust someone to tell my story and get played in any form would just be a nail in the coffin.... ...View Post & Comment
Margarita, I’m so sorry for your loss and for how much has been taken from you. Your concern about being erased again makes total sense. If you decide to tell your story, it’s okay to insist on clear agreements: credit, approval over how your words are used, and the right to step back at any time. You deserve care and protection. I agree you need to be careful of who you tell. In the very least maybe write it down somewhere, get it all out. Then release it when you feel ready. In the very le... ...View Post & Comment
I've been looking into the case of David S. Hanstad, and one thing that's been bugging me is the whole financial aspect. Banks have such stringent protocols about reaching out to customers. The fact that the family only received a letter about his account inactivity in April 2025, almost three years after he went missing, seems odd to me. I wonder if the bank had been trying to contact him all this time or if their first attempt was really in 2025. This could shed some light on whether David had... ...View Post & Comment

I just stumbled upon the case of Cheyenne Williams and something about it is really sticking with me. I literally keep wondering about the tattoo on her neck. It's described as an "Asian-style" tattoo—does anyone know exactly what it looks like or what it might represent? I’ve often thought about the impact of Michael Parsons’ tragic passing on his sister, Rebecca.
