An Unforeseen Attack

Approximately a mile into their journey, the tranquility of the early morning was shattered. David Barwick was suddenly and violently attacked, sustaining multiple gunshot wounds. In the chaos that ensued, James, his elder brother, could do little but cradle David as they awaited emergency assistance. Despite their hopes, David succumbed to his injuries in James's arms, marking a devastating end to what began as a typical evening. David was just 33 years old at the time of his death.
