Kevin Lee Gilpin was born on September 11, 1978, in Casey County, Kentucky, to Gary L. Gilpin and Georgeann Sue (Crew). At 18 years old, Kevin was a resident of Russell Springs, Kentucky. On April 2, 1997, his father dropped him off on Old Columbia Road in Campbellsville, Kentucky. This was the last time Kevin was seen alive. He was reported missing on April 9, 1997, sparking concern among family and friends.
For six years, Kevin's whereabouts remained unknown. On June 18, 2003, a group of Amish individuals purchased a farmhouse in Casey County. While inspecting the property, they discovered human remains in a hand-dug well. DNA testing, with a sample provided by Kevin's mother, confirmed the identity of the remains as Kevin Gilpin.
The Kentucky State Police initiated an investigation into Kevin's death. Despite efforts, the case remains unsolved. Detectives have requested assistance from the community, urging anyone with information to come forward. Lieutenant Eric A. Wolford of the Kentucky State Police Post 15 in Columbia is the contact for tips related to the case.
The local community's response to the investigation has been notably quiet. Reports indicate that few individuals have been willing to discuss the case, and those who do often claim to have no knowledge. This silence has hindered progress in solving the case. on Vanished at Sea: The Mysterious Disappearance of Cameron Booth Off Chincoteague's Coast
He was a criminal, an abuser, likely who didn't want to face justice of his actions and took his own life because he could not face the consequences of what he did. The victims have told the family his crimes, with evidence. The family knows he was arrested and convicted of possession of CSAM. They know who and what he was. And they're all so equally sick they live in comfort that the victims don't want to retraumatize themselves over everything he put them through. Dont support this families sick parade of using a monster to get sympathy. He was never ashamed of who he was. He loudly boasted his crimes and justified them. The family shouldn't sit there and pretend, how far from reality are they to sit and post this man publicly on news outlets, websites, knowing who he is. Do they need attention that badly? They don't want the attention from the truth. The victims will never get justice. Do not pray for him o
