On March 4, 2025, 39-year-old Charles Eppard of Bigfork, Montana, embarked on a heli-skiing expedition in the Chugach Mountains near Girdwood, Alaska. An experienced outdoorsman and avid skier, Eppard was accompanied by two friends, David Linder of Florida and Jeremy Leif of Minnesota. The trio, guided by Chugach Powder Guides, aimed to explore the remote backcountry terrain accessible only by helicopter. Tragically, their adventure turned fatal when a massive avalanche engulfed them, leaving them presumed dead beneath an estimated 40 to 100 feet of snow .
The avalanche occurred around 3:30 p.m. local time, shortly after the group was dropped off near the West Fork of the Twentymile River, approximately eight miles northeast of the Girdwood Airport. Witnesses reported that the skiers deployed their avalanche air bags as the slide began, a standard safety measure intended to keep victims near the surface. Despite these efforts, the sheer volume and depth of the snow rendered rescue attempts futile. Guides on the scene detected signals from the skiers' emergency beacons but were unable to reach them due to the depth and unstable conditions .
Alaska State Troopers, along with avalanche experts and recovery teams, faced significant challenges in their efforts to recover the bodies. Poor weather conditions and the high risk of additional avalanches made it too dangerous to proceed with recovery operations. An aerial assessment conducted on March 6 confirmed that the skiers were buried in a steep section of terrain, with depths ranging from 40 to nearly 100 feet. Authorities concluded that recovery efforts would not be possible until conditions improved to ensure the safety of rescue teams .
Originally from North Mankato, Minnesota, Charles "Charlie" Eppard was known for his zest for life and love of the outdoors. He pursued his passion for skiing and fly fishing with enthusiasm, often sharing these experiences with his family and friends. Eppard worked remotely in software sales, which allowed him the flexibility to live in Montana with his wife, Brittany Mitchell, and their daughter, Belen. His brother, Jon Eppard, recalled Charlie as an inspiring figure who encouraged him to embrace adventure and live life to the fullest ....Read More

on Vanished at Sea: The Mysterious Disappearance of Cameron Booth Off Chincoteague's Coast
He was a criminal, an abuser, likely who didn't want to face justice of his actions and took his own life because he could not face the consequences of what he did. The victims have told the family his crimes, with evidence. The family knows he was arrested and convicted of possession of CSAM. They know who and what he was. And they're all so equally sick they live in comfort that the victims don't want to retraumatize themselves over everything he put them through. Dont support this families sick parade of using a monster to get sympathy. He was never ashamed of who he was. He loudly boasted his crimes and justified them. The family shouldn't sit there and pretend, how far from reality are they to sit and post this man publicly on news outlets, websites, knowing who he is. Do they need attention that badly? They don't want the attention from the truth. The victims will never get justice. Do not pray for him o

on The Unsolved Disappearance of Kenneth Wayne Moss: A 20-Year Mystery in Harrisburg, Arkansas
I have always known the law and powerful people were involved in Kenny's murder. After he went missing I was fallowed and stalked by people, some looked like cops or undercover investigators and some looked like crooks, mobsters and drug dealers. And the law have never questioned me or asked me anything about what happened even though I know all of this information. I know that there are still people out there who want to shut me up. Cops have never tried to help me with the investigation they've only harrassed me and put bogus charges on me and have literally tried to pin stuff on me and send me to jail. When Ive tried to talk about Kenny to cops they either played dumb and wanted no part of it had 0 interest or they literally ignored me and acted as if I was not even speaking all while attempting to railroad me and lock me up. I have never even done drugs and I've always tried to live a legal abiding life. I'm now a father and husband works and makes an honest living.
