On August 12, 1983, forty-two-year-old Wanda Sue Clark vanished from Wagoner County, Oklahoma, leaving behind a mystery that has persisted for more than four decades. She is officially listed as an endangered missing person, meaning authorities believe her disappearance involved circumstances that could have placed her in danger. At the time she went missing, Wanda was living in the Rocky Point area of Wagoner County, a lakeside community on Fort Gibson Lake.

The Day Wanda Disappeared

On the day she disappeared, Wanda told family members she was going to the pharmacy. Different summaries of the case indicate she was believed to be headed toward a pharmacy in Coweta, a nearby town, but she never arrived.
