Introduction

On January 1, 2023, 16-year-old Elintra Fischer vanished from her home in Monteview, Idaho, leaving her family and community in turmoil. Over a year later, the search for Elintra continues, with her mother, former members of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (FLDS), and law enforcement agencies tirelessly working to uncover her whereabouts.

The Day She Disappeared

Elintra left her Monteview residence on New Year's Day 2023, driving her mother's gray 2015 Honda Civic. The vehicle was later discovered abandoned at a gas station in McCammon, Idaho, with a letter she had written inside, but there was no sign of Elintra herself.
