Aaron Scott Johnson, known to friends and family as "AJ," was a 34-year-old resident of Birchwood, Wisconsin. Standing at 5'6" and weighing between 200 to 220 pounds, Aaron was easily recognizable by his numerous tattoos, including "817" near his left eye, "100% HONKEY" across his back, and a depiction of Jesus Christ with a crown of thorns on his neck.
On the evening of October 10, 2020, Aaron had a phone conversation with his wife, during which they had an argument. He informed her that he planned to stay with friends that night. The following day, October 11, around 6:00 p.m., these friends dropped him off at the intersection of Highway CC and Highway N in Sawyer County, an area locally known as Six Mile Corner. Aaron's maroon 2001 Dodge Dakota pickup truck was parked there, having experienced brake issues. Despite the mechanical problems, the vehicle was still operable.
A significant development occurred on October 12, when a witness reported seeing a man matching Aaron's description walking along a remote logging road near Birchwood. Notably, the individual was dressed in only a white tank top, blue/gray plaid boxer shorts, and muddy socks, without shoes. When approached and asked if he needed assistance, the man declined help, stating he was fine. The witness managed to capture a photograph from behind as the man walked away. This sighting, however, was not reported until December 14, two months later. Upon viewing the photograph, Aaron's family confirmed that the individual was indeed him.
On December 2, authorities located Aaron's abandoned pickup truck near the intersection of Perch Lake Road and Fire Lane Road in the Blue Hills area. Subsequent searches of the vicinity uncovered several personal belongings scattered over a mile-long stretch. Among the items found were his gloves, clean boots, and pants containing his identification, a check, and some cash. Additionally, searchers discovered a small teepee-like structure that Aaron had apparently constructed on a ridge close to where his truck was found, within sight of the road. ...Read More

on Vanished at Sea: The Mysterious Disappearance of Cameron Booth Off Chincoteague's Coast
He was a criminal, an abuser, likely who didn't want to face justice of his actions and took his own life because he could not face the consequences of what he did. The victims have told the family his crimes, with evidence. The family knows he was arrested and convicted of possession of CSAM. They know who and what he was. And they're all so equally sick they live in comfort that the victims don't want to retraumatize themselves over everything he put them through. Dont support this families sick parade of using a monster to get sympathy. He was never ashamed of who he was. He loudly boasted his crimes and justified them. The family shouldn't sit there and pretend, how far from reality are they to sit and post this man publicly on news outlets, websites, knowing who he is. Do they need attention that badly? They don't want the attention from the truth. The victims will never get justice. Do not pray for him o
