John George Hura Jr., a 36-year-old man from Youngstown, Ohio, vanished without a trace on January 27, 2020. Known to frequent the area beneath the Mahoning Avenue Bridge, which spans the Mahoning River, Hura's disappearance has left both authorities and the community searching for answers.
At the time of his disappearance, Hura stood 5'6" tall and weighed approximately 150 pounds. He had brown hair and brown eyes. Distinctive tattoos adorned his body, including one on the left side of his neck, a blue star on the top of his left hand between his thumb and forefinger, and flames on both arms.
Hura led a transient lifestyle, often residing beneath the Mahoning Avenue Bridge. Around the time he went missing, reports surfaced of a physical altercation between Hura and another homeless individual, Michael DiCola. Witnesses suggested that during this confrontation, both men might have fallen into the Mahoning River.
In July 2020, approximately six months after Hura's disappearance, Michael DiCola was found deceased in the Mahoning River, with drowning identified as the cause of death. This discovery intensified concerns regarding Hura's fate, leading to speculations about a potential link between the two incidents. However, authorities have not confirmed any direct connection between DiCola's death and Hura's disappearance. ...Read More

He was a criminal, an abuser, likely who didn't want to face justice of his actions and took his own life because he could not face the consequences of what he did. The victims have told the family his crimes, with evidence. The family knows he was arrested and convicted of possession of CSAM. They know who and what he was. And they're all so equally sick they live in comfort that the victims don't want to retraumatize themselves over everything he put them through. Dont support this families sick parade of using a monster to get sympathy. He was never ashamed of who he was. He loudly boasted his crimes and justified them. The family shouldn't sit there and pretend, how far from reality are they to sit and post this man publicly on news outlets, websites, knowing who he is. Do they need attention that badly? They don't want the attention from the truth. The victims will never get justice. Do not pray for him o
